Arts Alive has, from its first year, supported the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Since its formation over 30 years ago, the Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey has become the second home of the internationally recognized Ailey dance company and this year we've been offered a special ticket price for their Thursday evening performance. Each ticket is priced at $17 and maybe purchased through our ticketing system.  There is no pre-event included with this offering.

Tickets will be held for you at our desk at the Folly Theater. The Thursday evening performance begins at 7:30pm. 

Ailey 11 is the Next Generation of Dance and is comprised of the young corp of dancers who are recent graduates of the Ailey school in New York City. Led by Troy Powell, these energetic young dancers will present timeless Ailey classics along with works by outstanding emerging choreographers. This is your opportunity to see the future stars of American ballet theater. Join us for another memorable Arts Alive event.
