Disgraced, the Pulitzer Price winning play written by Ayad Akhtar & three Galleries visit in the Crossroads.

The Unicorn Theater never shies from interesting contemporary drama and we've purchased the entire house for the October 22nd staging of Disgraced, the Pulitzer Price winning play written by Ayad Akhtar, which delves into politics and religion, two subjects that are generally taboo at a civilized social gathering hosted by a young upwardly mobil couple and their friends. Curtain is at 7:30pm on this late Sunday afternoon. You won't want to miss this one.

We begin the afternoon at three galleries nestled together at the corner of 18th and Wyandotte in the Crossroads. We'll assemble at the Oracle Gallery at 5:30pm where the Farmhouse will cater a sumptuous reception. Taxidermy and collectibles from the natural world are beautifully featured at this gallery and the owners will discuss how they've collected this assortment of the exotic and bizarre. Then we'll step into the Windhorse Tattoo and Gallery which displays unique designs showing the historical traditions of tattooing as a fine art. Finally we'll visit Fraction Studio showing fine art prints contrasting Eastern and Western traditions both historic and contemporary.

Again, we are limited to 110 tickets and we generally sell out quickly.  Sign up quickly. Still a bargain at $35.
