Bill Shapiro's Cypress Avenue celebrates its 40th Anniversary with an amazing show at the Folly Theater. Memphis Soul and Rhythm & Blues Review features Grammy Award winners William Bell, Charlie Musselwhite and Bobby Rush in concert together on Friday night, November 3rd, at the Folly and we'll be there for the 8 o'clock curtain.
We begin the evening visiting the Kansas City Artists Coalition in the River Market. We'll begin at 6 o'clock with a reception and spend time in their space visiting the 3rd annual exhibition of the Kansas City Society for Contemporary Art curated by Keith Davis, senior curator of photography at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. In addition, three female artists, Tanya Lueck, Debby Williams and Diane Morgan will be featured in the lower gallery space.
As the November event follows closely behind our sold out October 22nd event, you'll want to sign up quickly so as not to miss out. The entire evening including reception is $35.00. Reserve your place, invite some friends and spend Friday evening with Arts Alive.
