Johnson County here we come. Circle Saturday, May 20th for an exciting visit to a private collection with amazing paintings, ceramics, glass and Judaica. After a wonderful reception catered by Michael Sherman, we head to Yardley Hall at the JCCC to hear the Joey Alexander Trio. Discovered by Wynton Marsalis, this gifted young pianist from Bali has thrilled audiences all over the world.
We begin at 5 pm at the Corinth Downs home of Michael Klein. This three story, 3600s/f home is filled with the likes of Hung Liu, Red Grooms, Thomas Hart Benton, an extensive ceramic collection including Ken Ferguson, Victor Babu and Viola Frey, a large selection of vintage Stueben glass and designer furniture throughout the home.
We depart the home in time for an 8 o’clock curtain featuring this extraordinary and uniquely talented pianist and his trio. Alexander is a 3-time Grammy nominee and again this year has received a nomination for the Best Improvised Jazz Solo for the title track of his most recent release, Countdown.
We are limited to accommodate our guests to the Klein home. Address will be given a few days prior to the event to those who reserve first on our new website. The cost is still only $30pp for the entire evening of visual art, a reception and a show not to be missed!
**Please note that we do not mail our tickets in advance and will instead distribute them at the event. You will receive an email a day or two prior to the event confirming your registration.
***Also, we regret that we are unable to give refunds.
