SOLD OUT The (R) Evolution of Steve Jobs

Arts Alive has always wanted to attend a performance and support the Lyric Opera but the seat price has been out of our price range. As we come out of the worst of the pandemic, even the major arts groups, in order to rebuild their audiences, has offered some attractive pricing and fortunately we've been offered an amazing price which will afford us the opportunity to see one of the most interesting new works available to a limited number of producing opera companies. The Lyric, the Atlanta Opera and the Austin Opera have jointly added The (R) Evolution of Steve Jobs to their repertoire and we've circled a limited number of tickets for our members.

Steve Jobs literally changed our world in profound ways, but his immense achievements in technology were marked by turmoil in his personal life. This opera, set to music and voice, brings this complex icon to the stage as we witness both the clarity but also the quirkiness of the man who literally changed our world through technology.

We'll first gather at the Buttonwood Art Space at 5:30 where we'll enjoy a lite supper as we wander through their current exhibit entitled ABSTRACT: He'ART', a grouping of 125 works of art offered by our local art community. Half of the proceeds of all sales go to the Ronald McDonald House and half to the artist. Prices start around $100 and are available online or by visiting from now until March 24th. There are still beautiful works available.

Get your group together, buy your tickets and join us for another Arts Alive special evening.
