You’re invited to join fellow Arts Alive participants to celebrate the ART OF THE CAR on
Thursday, January 25 at the Kansas City Automotive Museum in Olathe, KS. Knowledgeable
docents, music, and dinner will make this an evening to remember.
The Kansas City Automotive Museum is widely recognized in the car community and has grown
since its founding in 2014 to become a popular meeting place for historians, club meetings,
special events, in addition to car enthusiasts. Its current home has room to display 30 autos and
highlights significant Kansas City automotive history such as 1965 Le Mans winner Masten
Gregory (the “Kansas City Flash”), the Ford Winchester Plant, and Greenlease Cadillac, with a
special exhibit that changes monthly. Expert staff will open eyes and hearts to the aesthetics
and vision of these rolling sculptures. They will also explore the history behind auto design, with
a focus on Kansas City’s role in it.
There’s plenty of free parking, so arrive at 5:30 p.m. and check in
When you’re not touring the exhibits and the other informative displays, enjoy drinks and
barbecue catered by The Rub, all to an acoustic set from Legerdemain (Marus Rattler, Daniel
Yung, and Imani Mason), a steel pan led multi-genre fusion band with a jazz and funk backbone,
second place winner in the Blues Foundation’s 2023 International Blues Challenge held in
Kansas City.
Tickets for the evening’s activities are $45 each. This event is limited to 60 participants, so
make your decision to participate as soon as you can.
As usual, tickets are not refundable. Should your schedule change you are welcome to give your
