30 Americans at the Nelson-Atkins Museum & In the Heights, Musical Heritage Theater at Crown Center- SOLD OUT

We will skip July as the arts take a break and the temperature reaches into the 90s but we can't skip August as there are two major events to enjoy and we'll be there for both of them. 30 Americans has opened at the Nelson-Atkins Museum and it's a blockbuster exhibit not to be missed. If you're a member of the museum, the entry is free. Otherwise the entry fee is $18/pp and well worth the expense. But if you come with Arts Alive, the entrance fee is waived and you'll have trained docents leading you through the experience and enlightening your visit. We'll assemble at 11:00am. The Museum opens at 10am and you may want to wander through some of the other exhibits that are free to the public. There is also Miniature Golf(with art inspired holes) on the south lawn and a food stand to sustain you until our reception(location to be determined later).

We'll leave the museum in time for the 2 pm curtain of the 2008 musical In the Heights written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Yes he's the same creator of Hamilton which is selling out from Broadway to major cities throughout the States. Again seats are limited in the Musical Heritage Theater at Crown Center so reserve your tickets now and join us for another exciting day enjoying the "arts" in Kansas City.
