Arts Alive is constantly looking for new and exciting artistic venues throughout the city and on November 15th we'll attend the newly renovated American Heartland Theater in Crown Center for the exciting new Quixotic Sensatia, an evening of cabaret, burlesque, music, dance, and aerial stunts with creative lighting. The twelve-year-old Quixotic company has toured Spain, India, and China and recently completed a long engagement in Miami.
We'll begin the evening on this special Friday with a visit to three local galleries situated together along Baltimore just south of 20th street. At Leedy-Voulkos Art Center we'll congregate at 6 pm for our reception and viewing of "All Colors" featuring local and regional artists and curated by St. Louis based gallerist Robert A. Powell. From there we'll walk next door to the Sherry Leedy Gallery to view her new exhibit featuring three female artists, Barbara Rogers, Cary Esser, and Jennifer Onofrio. Finally, we'll cross the street for dessert at the Cerebra Gallery featuring "Animals" by artist Joseph Broghammer.
We leave the Crossroads for a short ride to Crown Center for an 8:30 pm curtain. Put a group together and join us for an exciting evening of visual and performing arts. Still only $40/pp including our usual sumptuous reception.
