Arts Alive, now in its 23rd year of presenting monthly cultural events, begins the late summer with another wonderful evening of visual and performing arts. We'll meet at the Historic 21C Hotel at 5pm on Saturday, August 27th, where we'll tour the current exhibit of contemporary art. This national hotel chain fully restored the original 1888 hotel in 2017 and changes exhibits every six months bringing exhibits of leading contemporary artists to each of their hotels. Jori Cheville is the local curator and she will discuss the current works and lead us through the hotel's collection.
